inserted citation has list of all auhors
When I insert a citation in my document it inserts the list of all authors instead of Smith et al. 2015. How do I shorten it to et al.?

"suppressed author" addin a space
When using the "suppressed author" feature in an in-text citation in Word, It's leaving a space after the fist parenthesis like this ( 2014). The code I'm using is http://csl.mendeley.com/styles/24369351/american-phytopathological-society
I tried look at the CSL code but none address this feature. The year field is okay in Mendeley Desktop (no space), so it must be in the code - but where?
I've tried looking at other codes which do this correctly, i.e. Chicago Manual of Style, 16th., but again, I can't locate the suppress author coding.

50 MB file size limitation
Love Mendeley, but that 50 MB file size limitation is killing me. I have several high-quality pdf's of books with searchable text from just over 50 MB to about 130 MB. I expect to receive several more over the course of the next three terms. I also do most of my reading on an iPad, and annotate files on both the Mac and the iPad. Not being able to sync these files means that, even though I can have separate copies of the files on the two devices, any annotations I add on one device won't appear on the other device. This severely limits Mendeley's usefulness to me.
I installed the Mendeley Desktop beta last week, hoping that it would support larger files sizes, but apparently it doesn't.
Is there a plan to allow syncing of larger file sizes any time soon? I seem to recall reading about this in another post.

Using articles' tag to find corresponding highlights
I can use tags to filter articles. Filtered articles contain highlights and notes. I'd like to look through highlights to remind me what interesting there were and maybe look through corresponding article. Is it possible? I don't want to read all my highlights or one specified article highlights. I hope to find something like newsfeed. =)

citation prefix for collapsed citations
I am trying to put a prefix before all citation numbers when they are inserted in line with the body of my document. I need to be able to put a chapter number in front of all my citations like "2.X" where X is the reference number. I have a custom CSL file currently with the following for the citation style:

note: could not include open and close bracket symbols because of the text input limitations
This works fine for individual citations or groups of citations which are not sequential but when the Cite-O-Matic plugin collapses multiple citations, I cannot figure out how to get a "2." prefix to appear for the second part of a citation list. I would like the collapsed citations to appear as "2.1-2.5" for example but I can only get it to show up as "2.1-5".
Any thoughts?

New PLOS ONE Citation Style
PLOS ONE has just updated their guidelines for their citation style (http://www.plosone.org/static/guidelines) so the citation style that I currently have in Mendeley for PLOS ONE is no longer correct. Mainly, the year is no longer after the author in parentheses and there are 6 author names before "et al."
Example:
Hou WR, Hou YL, Wu GF, Song Y, Su XL, Sun, B, et al. cDNA, genomic sequence cloning and overexpression of ribosomal protein gene L9 (rpL9) of the giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca). Genet Mol Res. 2011;10: 1576-1588.
I have a manuscript that is ready to publish except for the references section, which would take me FOREVER if I have to reformat this by hand. If you know how to do it and could update the CSL for me that would be FANTASTIC!

Bibliography format for RSC for websites
Hey,
after adding a website to mendeley and then testing it, ie citing it and then adding it to the bibliography. citing it was fine however it completely failed to correctly add the required format to the bibliography.
is there a way to rectify this? even if i have to re-type the bibliography reference my self (in is case if there a way to override what mendeley has entered overwise each time i add new reference and hit refresh it removes any changes i have made).

Could you please tell us whether there are any new developments
concerning the integration of mendeley and google docs?

Problems importing from PubMed to Mendeley (classic way -*.ris- or Web Importer)

We have tried with a teacher to import 1000 bibliographic referencies from PubMed to Mendeley. We have change de display options in PubMed to 200 items per page and "save to Mendeley" but it does not work. After wait for a while I only can see the gray cross on the screen and any result on my Mendeley Library. I tried with 100 but it is extremly slow. It works with less references (10, 20 ...).
I also have tried sending the references to the citation manager that generates a file with 200 references and I included this *.nbib file on Desktop.
Could Web Importer supports an importation of 200 references, some of them with PDF files? Second way it is useful but only but we only have references.

Data missing, including journal information, when I save a citation
I've been trying to import several articles from a variety of journals obtained via Ebsco databases, SPORTDiscus in particular, and I've found that the Save to Mendeley button is only able to pick up some small portion of the metadata. It appears that the only information it includes in the entry is article title, (sometimes) the author, the abstract, the date added, and the ISSN. Everything else, including all the journal information, is blank. (I've tried in Chrome and Firefox, if that helps.) Is Mendeley currently experiencing difficulties?

Problem syncing my library
Hello,
I just upgraded my version of Mendeley Desktop and now my library won't sync. Besides that, the program shows as if I'm not logged in. Here is the message:
