I have a large text in an MS Word file which is referenced using Mendeley. Upon importing this word file (*.docx) into Adobe InDesign CS5.5, about 10% of the references display as:

Leading this citation are what seems to be lines from the abstract of the cited paper. Do you have any clues as to why this occurs and how I can fix this issue? I would be very grateful for some help, this is turning into a bit of an emergency...
