I have annotated a pdf file on my laptop and synced the library. The changes appeared on the web. Then I opened Mendeley on my PC and displayed this error: "Sorry, there was a problem syncing your library: This file already exists for this document - upload progress: 0 of 0. Error ID: DWcleCX5HF4". I found a solution (using Ctrl+Shift+D, etc.). After that, a link to my local file, that was annotated on my laptop, disappeared. I re-entered the link. However the pdf now has no annotations and this somehow propagated everywhere, so I no longer have the annotations on any of the locations.
Please, make a tutorial on how syncing is done. Is there a "master" location to which all other places listen? Is it time of modification (including deletion, file link re-entry, etc.) that matters most?
Thank you.
