Hi!
I'm working on a longer piece of text with several chapters. I am using Chicago full note citation style.
I would like sources to be cited with a full note every time they are mentioned for the first time in a chapter, even if they are mentioned earlier in the document. I know it is not in line with the Chicago manual, but in my case I think it would be better for my readers.
I use Word's headings and section break tools to divide my chapters, and I have set the footnotes to start counting from one again at the beginning of each chapter.
So, is there a way to make Mendeley write out full notes whenenever I cite a source for the first time in a chapter (i.e., every time it is mentioned for the first time after a section break)?
Or alternatively, is there a way to manually chose to insert a full note instead of the automatic short version?
