I have attempted multiple times to delete a citation from a word document.
However, at any point that I save the document, the citation reappears. ... and then reappears multiple times, leaving the paper cited 3, 4, 5, 6 times in a row.
I always go back through the Mendeley "Insert or Edit citation" function, delete it there, and then click "OK", but the code reappears at later points in time.
How can you delete citations within a MS Word text for GOOD so this ghost reference will not reappear.ever.again.?
For the record, I am running Mendeley on my MacBook and use the MS Word plugin.
Thank you!
