When I drag an existing paper into Mendeley, it parses even volume/pages information that seems not appear in the pdf.
However, I recently published a paper in the IEEE ICIP conference. However, when I dragged it from IEEE Xplore to Mendeley, parsing does not work well: broken title, wrong authors, no abstract, no journal name, etc.
I am just curious that how parsing works.
1) You needed to do something in the latex source level?
2) Mendeley requires at least initial someone who correct the info so that the mendeley web cluster keeps that information?
3) Is it just because the parsing algorithm unfortunately does not work well for my paper (IEEE ICIP) formatting?
