I work as a biomedical freelance consultant, and a year ago decided to go with ReadCube over Mendeley because I found the RC dashboard and making topic specific subfolders much more easy to navigate. I do not have direct access to university journal subscriptions but can go to the public computer terminals at my local university and have almost complete access to their subscriptions. I have about 2,000 PDF research articles I reference in doing my industry work
I am interested in now switching to Mendeley if you can confirm the following. I need to highlight in yellow the PDFs on my Mac computer as I read them. (I haven't actually re-started using Mendeley although I still have a Premium membership). In Mendeley Mac desktop if I open a PDF on my computer will it open in M software or my Adobe DC app? How can I get it to open in M? What will be my ability to highlight in M?
Secondly, how do I delete my previous library and folders in M and re-start in M?
