I need to remove PDF files from my Mendeley Web library, but I have them saved locally on my computer and I still want them linked locally to my Mendeley Desktop library. It seems like if I delete a file from the Web, it is also removed from Mendeley Desktop (but not deleted from my computer). I don't want to keep my PDF files online. Thank you.

Search Result Limitation
Hi,
When i made a search in mendeley, only 5 pages reults have been viewed. There are 20 results in each page and this means i only can see 5x20=100 results.
How can i see rest of results?

Downloading PDF from Science Direct
When I export a citation to Mendeley from Science Direct I tick the "Download PDF if available". However, despite the PDF is actually available, it does not download the file, but only the reference. How can this be possible?

Mendeley Quick Reference Guide
The "Mendeley Quick Reference Guide" PDF document, https://www.elsevier.com/__data/assets/pdf_file/0011/117992/MIE_UserGuide2016.pdf
which I used last week is now 404 Not Found on the Elsevier website.
Does this guide exist somewhere else?
And a more general question: in creating a guide for my library, I am finding some support materials on elsevier.com and others (sometimes the same materials in a slightly different form) on mendeley.com. Is anything being done to consolidate the support in one place? If I'm confused, it makes it hard for the library to support our users.

Why am I seeing duplicate documents in Mendeley and what can I do to prevent this?
Also, is there a way of seeing all the documents with which ones are in which folder, to identify those which haven't been allocated to folders yet?

email as a type of reference
What if anything are you suggesting be used as a type of document when we are referencing an email correspondence? Generic seems to be the only thing useful on the drop down list. Emails have a fairly specific format - at least in APA.

I can't import citations from Web of Science. What is the solution to import and export from WoS? The Web Import doesn’t detect metadata. Also it doesn’t work the option “Save to Other File Formats”.

How to remove duplicates in Word when pulling citations from multiple Mendeley libraries.
I am combining multiple papers into a large document. Each paper used a different Mendeley library for citations. However, there is a large group of papers that are in multiple libraries. How do I pull the citations into Word without having duplicates? It seems that Cite-O-Matic sees the papers as "different" because they are from different libraries in Mendeley.

problem on syncing and library
When I sync my library using Mendeley Desktop (on Windows 7), an error message is appeared:
"Sorry, there was a problem syncing your library: Access to this document is not allowed. Error ID: mVP_d33pkw8"
I also find that, on the Mendeley Web, there are references which are shown on the library but cannot be accessed with an error message, "Document not found".
It seems that the database is broken by some reason. Does someone know how to reset the library?

lost word file
Hi All,
I lost my word file and managed to recover it. However when I went to continue, my citations in word started back at 1 ( eg - when it should be 130)
Can it be recovered, or do I have to put my mendeley citations back in individually?

How to export Authors with Compound Surnames in the Latex Pattern?
I am using latex and I know that in order to insert an author with a compound surname and all the letters of the surname are upper case, it is necessary that the author be described as:
Author = {Silva{ }Júnior, José},
or
Author = {Silva, Júnior, José},
But I use Mendeley to manage my bibliographic references and it exports the .bib file with the author described as:
Author = {{Silva Júnior}, José},
Hence, latex does not correctly solve the reference writing in relation to the ABNT standard.
I've already researched and found nothing about it ... Does anyone know how it is possible to use the generation of references by Mendeley and Latex can capitalize all the letters of a compound surname?
