Hello, I used mendeley without problems for a while, but suddenly I cannot insert some of the citation anymore. Although I have still a lot of storage space on my account, the new citations don't seem to work anymore. Some other references, which I added a bit earlier, can be added without any problems. Do you have any ideas how I could fix that? Thank you!

can I get bibliograpphy only for as elected part of the text so that not all the papers show up at the same time? Is more convenient to have refs right at the end of the chapter rather than at the end of the whole text.

Using Mendeley plugin in MS Word
Hi,
I'm using the Mendeley plugin in MS Word. I used the APA-6 referencing style and don't want to show the DOI in my bibliography. Is there any way to remove this?

Exporting bibliography from/used in a word manuscript
Hello,
I have a manuscript I referenced with Mendeley. I want to export just the manuscript's bibliography to share with another collaborator who uses RefWorks. I understand how to export references from my Mendeley desktop, however as I have thousands of references, it would be tedious to go back through my Mendeley database to organize together the 90 references used in the paper.
Is there someway to just export the bibliography used in this manuscript or locate all the references in this manuscript in Mendeley to ease exportation?

pdfs not all syncing
Hi,
On my desktop, I have about 120 references in my library, with about 110 of those having pdfs attached.
When I sync this library and then open Mendeley on my laptop, only a handful of the pdfs have transferred or synchronised...
Any help would be much appreciated!

Footnotes in Medeley?
Has Mendeley added the feature of creating footnotes at the end of each page in a document (as opposed to all references going to the end of the document in a Bibliography?). I've seen answers to this question from 2013 - but wondered if I can get a more recent answer.

Mendeley is not getting all informations from ACM
Hi, when i click in button "save to mendeley", some information (e.g.: abstract) isn't stored in my library of the mendeley.
This happening in all paper from site http://dl.acm.org/.

Incorrect metadata entry
Every article I put into Mendeley Desktop from a particular journal (Pediatric Blood and Cancer) links to a Mendeley Web entry and fills in the metadata for this article instead "http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=Desmoplastic+journal+of+clinical+oncology+1996"
Any help would be appreciated!

Mendeley corrupting word documents
I have recently run into a problem with my thesis document that seems to be related to Mendeley. When I save my .docx, close Word, and reopen, I get an error message that says: The Open XML file xxxx.docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents or the file name might contain invalid characters (for example, \/). Details: No error detail available. Location: 2.
When I click OK, a prompt appears saying that Word found unreadable content, and asks me if I want to recover the contents. When I click Yes, the document appears as normal, but if I try to save and reopen, I get the same error message as above.
Is there any fix for this issue? I'm running Mendeley using Mac OSX 10.9.5 with Office 2011.

Incorrect DOI lookup
the following doi: 10.1007/s11269-006-9039-x Finds a paper on kangeroo poo (Methane production and digestibility measurements in the grey kangaroo and sheep) while it should be on water consumption. Crossreff finds the correct paper, (Water footprints of nations: Water use by people as a function of their consumption pattern) the automatic lookup in Mendeley doesn't.

I get the error : Problem formatting citation #0 Incorrect number of formatted citations returned: 0 (expected 2) every time I try to insert a new citation in my Word document. I have the read the previous posts and tried the solutions but it doesn't work for me.

Inline citation - non-superscript comma / hyphen delimiters
For some reason, the citation style I've created has superscript numeric inline citations, but multiple references are separated by non-superscript commas or hyphens.
Any idea how I fix this? I have no idea how this has happened. I can paste the .csl text if needed.

What is the correct manner to cite an ISO Standard in Mendeley?
Under what "Type" should they be classified?
When I visit the ISO website and find the standard that I want and then click on "Save to Mendeley" in the toolbar, it is saved as a web page.

Trouble with et al.
Hi Mendeley!
I'm having trouble with the et al. function in Word. I have tried using both my personalized version of APA 6th and just the regular APA 6th edition.
What I need is for the first time I source a reference that all authors appear (3 or more authors), but the second I cite it, to have only the first name followed by et al.
At the moment, it goes straight to et al. the first time around.

Mine looks exactly the same yet it does not give me the same results in word (any new or existing documents).
