dropbox problems

Hello, I have mendeley desktop installed on a work computer and my home laptop, and regularly work from both. I have set up mendeley to watch a dropbox folder into which I save pdfs from both my home machine and work machine. On my home machine I have asked mendeley to organise the dropbox folder into another folder on my hardrive. For a while it seemed like the system was working okay, but now it seems not. Reference information I enter when at work doesnt appear on my home machine, likewise pdfs I download on one machine don't appear linked on another. I sync regularly but it doesn't make any difference. Having searched the FAQs it seems my solution might be to get mendeley to watch separate folders on dropbox for home and work machines, is that right? Or that perhaps it is the fact of asking mendeley to organise the dropbox folder that's the main problem. apologies if this is a question already answered, it seems like something that lots of people would be wanting to do! I don't want to mess about with the folders too much in case I end up messing it all up/duplicating references etc, what is the simplest way to get this system to work so that I can access all pdfs and reference data from both machines, and have an organised folder of all pdfs? Also (I don't know if this is linked to the previous problem) but I have a number of duplicate pdfs that remain duplicates however often I delete or merge them - its really annoying! any ideas? Thanks alot for your help, Rose
