Hi.
I have just received an MS-Word document draft from a collaborator with the references inputted manually, i.e. adding numbers manually to the text and then copying the reference manually to the bottom.
I don't wish to carry out editing references manually and was wondering what the quickest option to make them automatic with Mendeley would be. Is there a way to:
1. Tell Mendeley to replace all, e.g. [1] occurrences with a given reference.
2. Save the bibliography text to another file and import it into Mendeley (without having to manually alter the format of the text to make it similar to a .bib file or equivalent).
I can of course do the above manually, but that would be extremely time consuming for so many references.
Many thanks in advance for your help. Best wishes,
Marta
