I use Mendeley for citations in APA format.
An author has 3 papers for the same year but different co-authors: -
1. Emamy, M., Emami, R., Khorshidi, R., & Ghorbani, M. R. (2013).
2. Emamy, M., Emami, R., & Tavighi, K. (2013).
3. Emamy, M., Yeganeh, V., Razaghian, A., & Tavighi, K. (2013).
First citation (Emamy, Emami, Khorshidi, & Ghorbani, 2013)
Second and afterward (Emamy, Emami, Khorshidi, et al., 2013)
First citation (Emamy, Emami, & Tavighi, 2013)
Second and afterward (Emamy, Emami, & Tavighi, 2013)
First citation (Emamy, Yeganeh, Razaghian, & Tavighi, 2013)
Second and afterward (Emamy, Yeganeh, Razaghian, et al., 2013)
What I’m understand…all citation must appears like this (Emamy , et al., 2013a)….(Emamy , et al., 2013b)…..(Emamy , et al., 2013c)
Any suggestion to settle?...because all citation in Mendeley is automatic citation.
