I would like to strongly suggest the next improvments in Mendeley. They would be of the highest help!!
- Full text search across the Annotations (written on the paper-pdf). It would not be that difficult: there is already the option "export pdf with annotations" which generates a pdf with all the annotations and page you've done on the paper.If this pdf was generated automatically and introduced in the Mendeley library, the search would be able to find everything in the annotations (these pdfs would have to be rewritten everytime you added a new annotation in the same pdf).
- Being able to order by Complete Date (not only year, but also day and month) in the library (it would be very useful for primary sources as newspaper articles and correspondence). I have added the items "day" and "month" in the "Document Details", but Mendeley has this not into account to order the files when you click the "year" label to order by date.
Please, take this into account. I think this would be of greatest interest for those that use Mendeley as their main tool to manage their sources, and would encourage many people to use it not only for their bibliography and secondary sources, but also for their primary sources. It would be a great thing!
