I am using ann als of botany and having a lot of issues with this style of reference. I saw the thread about CSL editor and tried to appliy the sugestions to no availa. Problem 1: inline citations seem to be sorted alphabetically and I want it purely chronologically. I have attempted to do exaclyt what is suggested on the thread http://support.mendeley.com/customer/portal/questions/786216-csl-editor-removing-the-first-names-initials-in-in-line-citations-when-using-et-al- and the variable I used was original-date Probem 2: some inline citations have authors initials and I want it gone, to no avail http://support.mendeley.com/customer/portal/questions/786216-csl-editor-removing-the-first-names-initials-in-in-line-citations-when-using-et-al- As suggested i changed ‘disambiguate-add-givenname’ to ‘false’ and I even went as far as changing disambiguate-add-names to false as well
