Cite While you Write Questions

I am using the Cite while you write Word plugin and I want to cite multiple sources at the end of one sentence. I am using IEEE style. Each citation appears as a number with a bracket around it. When more than one citation in a row is used, it appears as: [1],[2],[3],[4],[5] instead of [1-5]. Is there any way to change this? The merge citation button is not available.
