add reference to bibliography without mentioning it in the text

Hi, for a paper I need to have a complete reference including all supplementary items in the main manuscript. however the supplementary items are in a different document. Is there a way of adding those citations still to the bibliography in the main manuscript though they are not mentioned within this document? Best, David
