Hello,
I have a problem that, if unresolved, will cause me to leave Mendeley forever. Since I am a librarian at a huge university and I teach others about citation managers, this will affect other people, too.
As part of a systematic review, I brought a large number (5000+) of references into my account. I move back and forth between the Web and Desktop versions so the references ended up in both, which was fine. I subsequently deleted them all from both platforms but every time I open up Mendeley Desktop, it begins to sync and tries to bring them back into my account. They do not appear anywhere in either platform so I can't re-delete them. I don't know where they are coming from.
This is driving me crazy.
Nothing on the support forum was any help.
I really appreciate any assistance you can give me.
