Question about Mendeley web importer and integration with Ex Libris Primo product

Hi, I work for a company called Ex Libris for a product called ‘Primo’ (information at http://www.exlibrisgroup.com/category/PrimoOverview), and we want to ensure that search results found in Primo can be imported into Mendeley by using the Mendeley web importer. In Primo, we were planning to use COinS, but we got complaints from our customers that Zotero (which is also using Coins reference information) is missing abstracts, subjects, and additionally, is not handling well some resource types in Primo (like images, videos, databases etc) which are not supported in the OpenURL (used for COinS). So we are looking for alternatives that do provide a rich set of metadata elements. I wonder if Mendeley supports Linked Data (schema.org) mark-up in the HTML source of a web page (like a result page in Primo) for your Web importer? https://www.mendeley.com/reference-management/web-importer A few months ago, I found documentation up on how to make sure Mendeley can get the web importer to grab the metadata, but that page does not seem to be up anymore: https://www.mendeley.com/import/information-for-publishers/ It now just redirects to https://www.mendeley.com/reference-management/web-importer Is there documentation that you can provide that will help us evaluate what is the best way to support the Mendeley web importer? Kind regards. Lieve Rottiers Primo analyst
