Vancouver style not working in Word

Dear reader, I just switched from Refworks to Mendeley after pondering about going for Endnote or Mendeley for a while. I exported my references via bibtex and have them in Mendeley desktop now. However, I want to work with Vancouver citation styles (which I installed) and the citation looks useless, e.g: 1. RA A, AB R, ES M, JD C, VM K, AG S, et al. Circadian cycling of the mouse liver transcriptome, as revealed by cDNA microarray, is driven by the suprachiasmatic nucleus. Curr Biol. 2002;12(7):540–50. So all the author names have been abbreviated. I tried Vancouver Elsevier style and some more but it's all similar. I tried manually editing the style but the example tells me that the entire name should be in there according to the settings. I would very much appreciate you getting back to me with a solution, I have spent 2 days now wasting my time with Refworks not working on Word 2016 and redoing a major part of my work due to this so I would be very happy if I finally get this working... Kind regards, Arne Deodatus
