I'm a librarian and one of the students in our university is having trouble with the word plugin. We already tried everything that you suggest:
Update the version of Word ; Uninstall and reinstall the Mendeley Word plugin ; Uninstall and reinstall Mendeley Desktop.
Nothing works, when we try to insert a citation Mendley opens a frame that says:
" Unable to start Mendeley desktop automatically: failed to start C:/Program files (x86)/Mendeley Desktop/Mendley desktop.exe"
and it suggests that we start mendeley desktop manually, which we did.
can you help?
