There is sometimes 'wrong' characters for math expressions apear in the title when one use DOI to autogenerate the metadata of an article through Mendeley.
As an exemple, for article PhysRevA.66.052709,
the title is "Molecular three-continuum approximation for ionization of $H_2$ by electron impact",
while the autogenerated title is "Molecular three-continuum approximation for ionization of math display="inline" mrow msub mrow mi mathvariant="normal"H/mi /mrow mrow mn2/mn /mrow /msub /mrow /math by electron impact" (where several angle brackets have been omitted for they are 'invalid characters' here)
Is there any way to solve this problem?
